So What Is Joyous Life?
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.” Heb 10:24 (ESV)
Why this site exists?
There were many reasons for which I started this website, yet through the course of it life many of those reasons have been laid aside. One goal, that of encouraging other believers in their faith and walk has remained the central focus. This site is also just one way that I hope to practice Hebrews 10:24. So ultimately my desire with this site is that what you find here would be uplifting, provocative and help you grow in your walk with Christ.
Why call it Joyous Life?
Christ intended for all his followers to live an abundant life. That is not a life overflowing with things, but one taken up with the author of life. therefore, in Christ we find a source for joy which is not diminished by circumstances; a joy which is made complete when it is expressed and birthed in others.
In the middle of suffering or happiness the rock upon which we as Christians base our life is the person of Christ. When we are taken up with a delight of God, it overshadows the events around us. we then learn to draw strength from Him and are filled with His joy. Because of His great promises we can be joyful in suffering. My desire is that my journey of faith contained on these pages may be an encouragement to you, and lead you to trust in His Joy.
